GlobiSport is a platform for South African athletes, coaches, and institutions — one profile across five hubs: Community, Opportunities, Events, Development, and Learning. It will be available as an iOS/Android app and on the web.

Creating a profile, joining the community, browsing opportunities and events, and taking the Greatness Assessment are all free. Coaches and professionals set their own rates for bookable services, and you pay only when you book a session.

Both get the same verified profile, ratings, and booking tools. "Coach" covers head/sport coaches; "Professional" covers specialists like strength & conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, biokineticists, and mental performance coaches.

You complete a 16-question Greatness Assessment across four pillars — Physical Baseline, Tactical IQ, Mental Grit, and Professional CV — each scored out of 25. The total (0–100) places you in a tier, from Emerging Talent to Release Candidate, and ranks you on the Leaderboard against athletes in your sport, age group, and level.

Verification has three tiers. Level 1 (Core Identity) checks your government ID and a selfie, and unlocks discovery, messaging, and bookings almost instantly. Level 2 (Gold Tick) reviews professional credentials and takes a few business days. Level 3 (Institutional Link) confirms an affiliation with a school, club, or academy.

A guardian looks up the minor by email and confirms a guardian link before the minor account can be verified. Bookings made by a minor are held pending guardian approval, and payment is routed through the guardian’s account — there’s no separate biometric step for minor accounts.

Find a coach in Discover using filters like Near Me, High Trust, or My Network, open their profile, choose a service (1-on-1, group, online, development pathway, video analysis, or membership), pick a time from their real availability, and pay securely to confirm.

Bookings are currently priced in South African Rand (ZAR) and paid securely through PayFast.

GlobiSport is currently built around the South African sports ecosystem — ID verification and payments are set up for SA — with more African markets planned as the platform grows.

Every post, group, and event in the Community hub can be flagged for review directly from the app.
